I am Jiaqian, a PhD student in Computer Science at Boston University, advised by Prof. Ran Canetti. I graduated from the joint bachelor degree program between Columbia University and City University of Hong Kong.

My research interests lie in theoretical computer science, with a focus on cryptography and economics of computation (EconCS). Specifically, I am interested in exploring fundamental barriers and new approaches to building standard cryptographic primitives. I am fortunate to work with Prof. Tal Malkin on TFNP and cryptography. Additionally, I have a strong interest in fairness and efficiency in decision-making processes, and am grateful to be advised by Prof. Minming Li on facility location games and fair division problems.

You can find my (outdated, to be updated soon) CV here.
